Mary Elizabeth and Tyler met at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN, where they each received degrees in Christian Ministry specializing in Intercultural Studies. Pastor Tyler grew up in Middle Georgia. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary. Pastor Mary Elizabeth grew up in Mississippi. She holds a Master of Arts in Theological Studies degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary. Mary Elizabeth and Tyler understand their call to be a partnership in ministry and life. They are both ordained ministers in the Church of the Nazarene. They became the Co-Pastors at Manchester Nazarene in January 2021. They are passionate about leading the church to be a community of transformed people where all feel a sense of belonging.
Associate Pastor Kevin Bishop
Pastor Kevin was born in Quincy, Massachusetts and grew up here in Manchester. He attended Gordon State College in Barnesville, Georgia; Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia; and Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee where he earned his Associates Degree in Psychology, Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, and Master’s Degree in Religion/Pastoral Counseling respectively. Before serving our church, Pastor Kevin served as Associate Pastor/Worship Leader at Griffin First Church of the Nazarene. Prior to that, he had served as Worship Pastor here and Pastor at the LaGrange Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Kevin is an Ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene.
